Why did we do this?
- Greening up our business: Doing our part to be sensitive to the environment.
- Control power costs: A solar system can produce 20 to 100% of the annual power needed to run a farm. We feel good about this everyday.
- Economics: The cost of solar panels is a disadvantage, but the economics of solar energy is certainly an advantage.
- Decentralization: As society grows, so does the demand on our electricity infrastructure system. This is evident by our growing cost of transmission and distribution fees.
